This will be my new tattoo. I’ll have it done by tomorrow if everything goes right. Otherwise, I’ll be having it done next week.I like to think that everything that you have ever drawn sincerely is a self-portrait. This is mostly because there are no other people in the world that can see the world the way you see, think about the world the way you think and express it on a canvas the way you express it. So, if only you can do that like you do, what you draw is a true portrait of yourself. This one drawing is getting tattooed because it’s one of the truest self-portraits I have ever made.So if one day I forget who I am - like I already have - the spider will remind me. Neither good nor bad, just me. The storyteller, the web spinner, the one who lives by and for crafting its art - the web that amazes, hunts and shelters. You have always been with me, my friend. Let us be sure that we will never forget about us again. For you are the spider. For you are the fairy-eater. For you are me.For you are the black ink weaver.
